My name is Luka.

I'm a 32 year old freelance director, videographer and editor from Tielt, Belgium, focusing on music videos, live sessions, short films, commercials and all sorts of creative projects. All crafted with a cinematic feel. 

​

As a kid I used to built small home theaters in living rooms, bedrooms and attics to show movies to friends and family. I called it LUKASCOPE, while searching for a new name (FKA: In The Dark Films) to helm my own productions today I thought why not breath new life into that name. The visual identity of LUKASCOPE takes inspiration from my love for vintage cinematography and poster design, the color scheme is based on RGB gone wrong.

I currently shoot with Blackmagic Cinema Cameras and I'm familiar with both Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro X, for color grading I use Davinci Resolve. ​
